Artist Statement: Boundless Love

In my work, the metallic star and moon exist in harmony, each reflecting and enhancing the other’s presence. The star, radiant and untamed, represents ambition, energy, and the guiding light that pushes forward. The moon, cool and contemplative, is a source of quiet strength, balance, and reflection. Together, they create a cycle of illumination—one casting light, the other shaping shadows.

The metallic elements in this piece symbolize resilience and permanence, a reminder that even in the vastness of space and time, these celestial bodies remain interconnected. Though distinct in their nature, they rely on each other: the moon borrows the star’s light to shine, while the star finds purpose in illuminating the darkness the moon embraces.

Their relationship speaks to the dualities within us—dreams and reality, fire and calm, movement and stillness. In their coexistence, they form a silent but powerful dialogue, an eternal dance of light and reflection. This piece is an exploration of that delicate balance, a meditation on the forces that guide us, and a tribute to the beauty of cosmic collaboration.
